Well, 2012 is off to a good start and we are feeling very optimistic about the year ahead.  So far, the addition of soup and grilled cheese sandwiches to the menu has been well received and we are quite inspired to see folks dining in-house now that we offer more seating. We certainly have other ideas up our sleeves for providing you the savory nourishment you need as well as the sweets you crave so stay tuned. Of course all the success we anticipate in the year ahead is not be possible without your continued support and patronage for which we are extremely grateful. We Are Ready For A Great Year With You! We hope you all enjoyed ringing in the new year and are looking forward to all the wonders 2012 could bring. During our brief winter hiatus we cleaned out the cobwebs, gave the place a fresh new look and dreamt of all the ways we intend to delight you culinarily in the year ahead. We promised some new additions to our menu in the savory/lunch realm and in order to make that happen we needed to make sure the shop was in tip-top shape and ready to fit your healthy appetites. Well, the first thing we are excited to offer is a simple yet satisfying Grilled Cheese for only $5.oo! Choose from Daiya Cheddar or Pepperjack, we'll grill it up panini-style on a Grand Central Bakery  Como bread and you can pair it with a cup or bowl of hot soup! Now Serving Hot Soup!

After fielding many requests for something warm and savory and easy for those on-the-go we are happy to announce the addition of hot soup to our menu. Soup is now available every day in an 8oz cup ($3) or a 16oz bowl ($4.50) and it comes with a complimentary roll from Grand Central Bakery or a housemade gluten-free cornbread muffin. Rest assured all of our soups will always be vegan, organic and gluten-free and deliciously hearty.  Some of the soups we have featured since launching a week ago include: Curried Butternut Squash & White Bean, Lebanese Lemon Lentil, Classic Minestrone, Southwest Black Bean, Corn Chowder, Green Lentil Dhal and today we offer a nostalgic Potato Leek. Stop in any day of the week and warm up with a cup or bowl or have it packaged up to go!

The winter holidays are here and with all the hustle and excitement comes busy schedules and stress. Take one more thing off your plate and have us bake for your special events! Whether you're bringing Gingerbread Cookies to the office or a Pumpkin Crumble Pie to a holiday party, we got you covered. Click here for our special orders pricing guidelines. All orders need to be in by Wednesday, December 21st to be available for pickup on December 24th. All other times 48 hours notice is sufficient.
