Hello folks!

As the summer begins to wane it is natural to feel a little anxiety (or perhaps anticipation) about the earlier setting sun and the list of to-do's you wanted to accomplish before it's officially over.  Fortunately for us here in Portland the best weeks are still ahead as the harvest begins to roll in from the fields and the warm Indian summer afternoons are followed by the crisp promise of autumn.  With the harvest comes stone fruit and we are privileged to live in an area with such bountiful local produce to salivate over and inspire us in the kitchen.  Well, we are happy for all the abundance this time of year brings but perhaps most of all we are thankful for peaches!! Fresh, sweet, locally grown Washington Peaches!! So we have whipped up some incredibly delicious Harvest Peach Soft Serve and want to make sure you get a good taste before it's gone!  Try it twisted with Vanilla or all by itself...topped with ginger cream cookies OMG!! It sounds so good I am tempted while writing this and it isn't even lunch yet!!  

We wish you all a memorable and relaxing Labor Day weekend and want you to travel safe if you are out there on the road!
